What's your favorite EU money bill design?
Mine is Design I by Isabelle Daëon and I am seriously considering hanging them as art on my wall. They appear way too Japanese, though. I'm actually surprised how they made it into the competition because from overall composition to each detail they embody elements of Japanese art. It's not that I demand a distinct European identity, whatever that may be. But I am getting cultural appropriation vibes way too much. Beautiful, but not appropriate for the task.
Design H by Atelier Goppel-Topernpong is my personal second place and since I find it fitting for representing money bills, it's my winner for this competition. Visually to me not as stunning as design I but nevertheleses beautiful, well executed this is what I want my money to look like. Honestly I'd love to collect these prints.
It has to be birds, obviously. Person cult should die. Birds are the new era.
